Ski Area Aloch Buffaure
Skitour PANORAMA Buffaure - Ciampac
In
Pozza di Fassa, right in the middle of the Superski Dolomiti, the Ski-Area
Buffaure has been newly reopened and will be soon easily connected with
the Ski-Area Ciampac and with the Sellaronda. It lies in the heart of
the Val di Fassa with the ski carousel, the school-fields and the beautiful
dolomitic scenario, and enjoys a fine view over the Monzoni, Vajolet,
over the Sella chain and Marmolada. In this area tourists will find
well arranged ski runs and fast ski lifts within everybody’s reach;
both for beginners and for experts, and those who want to measure themselves
in competitive tests, have the Ski Stadium at their disposal, with the
possibility of evening training. For the youngest there is a school-field
with games suited for them and an illuminated ski run for cross-country
skiing.
In the season 2004/2005 we have completed the link with
the Ski-Area Ciampac in Alba di Canazei. Two of the new ski lifts are
realised. The first is called Pala del Geiger, a four-seater chairlift,
with a hourly capacity of 1800 people, a length of 684m and a drop of
230m; the departure of the ski run is fixed at 2104m and the arrival
at 2320m, and its medium gradient will be 30%. The second ski lift,
called Orsa Maggiore, will link the Val Giumela with Sella Brunech,
which is the point of arrival of the ski lifts in Ciampac. This chairlift
with automatic linking, with departure at 2104m and arrival at 2420,
will cover a drop of 316m and will have an hourly capacity of 2400 people.
The ski run will be 2200m long and will have a medium gradient of 20%.
