The cableway Pozza/Buffaure consists in a system with a six-seater cage with sitting passengers. It starts from the centre of the village in Meida, at 1341 slm and arrives at 2063m after exceeding a drope of 721m. 7 minutes of run with an hourly capacity of 1400 people. The ski run, called Buffaure or ‘Panoramica’-panorama- for the particular beauty of the surrounding Dolomites, is 6Km long, one of the longest ski runs of the whole Val di Fassa. It starts from 2050m and arrives in the village at a height of 1340m. The medium gradient is of 15% with long stretches of 30%, features that make it suitable to the great majority of skiers: all the ski runs are provided with an artificial snow equipment. The four-seater chairlift Col de Valvacin has a travelling platform at the departure of the cableway. It is 1045m long and covers a drope of 313m; actually it starts from a height of 2041m and reaches an arrival height of 2354m, with hourly capacity of 1800 people. The ski run is 1800m long and has a medium gradient of 20% and a maximum of 44%, and for this reason it can be classified as a ski run of medium difficulty. At the school-field you can find three ski-lifts for beginners. The old ski-lift has been replaced by a new chairlift, which will be 530m long, will have a drop of 185 and will link the skiers to the new ski run of medium difficulty, which will be 1200m long.
